Art District

The Arts District is the performing and visual arts center for Dallas, Texas. It is situated in the southern part of State Thomas, north of the City Center District, east of the West End Historic District, and is bordered by St. Paul Street and Ross Avenue. The district covers 6 acres and is the location of many of Dallas the most important historical sites and places for developing, performing visual, and performing arts.

The Arts District is where 13 institutions and facilities reside. One of them is The Annette Strauss Square, the Belo Mansion/Dallas Bar Association Booker T. Klyde Warren Park

The park is a 5.2-acre green space home to more than 300 trees and native fountains and plants Klyde Warren Park is constructed over an open freeway connected to two Dallas neighborhoods, Dallas Arts District and Uptown. This Park creates an urban oasis within the concrete and glass downtown district. It is a marvelous piece of engineering that is proud of the innovativeness and creativity of its ideas. Klyde Warren Park is also known as”the town square” of Dallas.

Winspear Opera House

The Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House is a modern performance venue. The horseshoe-shaped theatre has an elegant design that permits various mediums to be translated. The glass exterior, which reflects on the ponds beneath its metal canopy, is as stunning as the stage performance held inside. It was awarded the Architectural Awards by the United States Institute for Theatre Technology in 2010.
